BarcodeJet External Troubleshooting Basics

Basic troubleshooting steps for Barcodejet External:

  1. Power off the printer
  2. Disconnect power from the BarcodeJet
  3. Wait 30 seconds
  4. Reconnect power to the BarcodeJet
  5. Power on the printer
  6. Retest from application
  • If experiencing any reoccurring issues, make sure to update the firmware to the current revision
  • If you continue to experience problems, take note of the state of the Power and Status LED's (indicated on the top label), and the serial number indicated on the back label of the BarcodeJet. Then submit a request for a ticket, give a brief description of the issue, along with the state of the LEDs and the serial number.
