Basic Troubleshooting for FormJet Pro

Basic troubleshooting steps for FormJet Pro:

  1. Power off the printer
  2. Disconnect power from the FormJet Pro
  3. Wait 30 seconds
  4. Reconnect power to the FormJet Pro
  5. Power on the printer
  6. Retest from application
  • If you still have problems after resetting the printer and FormJet Pro as outlined above, verify that you are using a PCL 5 driver to print to the printer
  • FormJet Pro adds forms only on specific ports for specific forms. Verify that your application is printing to the correct TCP/IP port for the desired form
  • If you continue to experience problems, take note of the state of the Power and Status LED's (indicated on the top label), and the serial number indicated on the back label of the FormJet Pro. Then submit a request for a ticket, give a brief description of the issue, along with the state of the LEDs and the serial number.
